Clear braces

There are a variety of clear brackets available, part of which are made of plastic or silicon and part of porcelain. The porcelain brackets are attached to the exterior of the teeth, similar to the metal brackets, and they do not lose their transparency for the duration of the treatment. Only the metal wire that passes through the brackets and the elastic bands that serve to bind the orthodontic wire to the brackets are visible. The elastic bands may become discolored from food and drink and are replaceable at frequent intervals, in order to sustain the esthetic appearance for the duration of the treatment..
