Protrusion

A common complaint of patients, whose origin is Europe, is protrusion of upper front teeth. Often, the problem is actually due to a small lower jaw, which causes the upper teeth to seem protruding.

Treatment in such cases mainly consists of restraining the growth of the upper jaw (in patients who are still expected to grow), and pushing the upper teeth inward and/or moving them over the lower teeth.
